Have you read Ann Siegs Renegade Network Marketer and still don’t know where and how to start?

This is a problem that hasn’t been addressed so much by people in this industry. Everybody wants you to believe you just have to read Anns book and then the prospects will line up at your doorstep. It isn’t quite that easy.

One big question that stopped me from really taking off was this: Ann tells you that you have to present yourself as an expert. Ok, but what if you haven’t had any success yet and don’t feel like an expert at all? Are you supposed to pretend?

Only recently I found an answer:

You are allowed to be a beginner and tell people that you are! It is not damaging your reputation, it is just attracting slightly different people. Not everybody feels comfortable to connect with a very successful person like a millionaire. They might fear that they are not taken seriously or that they will have to pay a serious amount of money for some coaching.

So these people might feel better when contacting someone only slightly ahead of them. They can feel free to ask without having to fear that the question could sound stupid. And a beginner is often better at explaining a step they just took because they just learned it themselves and it is not so far away for them. Just like kids are good at teaching other kids, and that is why having kids working together is so effective.

The funny thing is that everything becomes much clearer to me as soon as I try to explain it to somebody else. It is almost as if I know things first when I try to explain them. This is also my way to give value to other people by giving them free coaching on the things I just learned myself.

The main resource where I learn about attraction marketing is the Renegade University. Here I find not only everything I need about attraction marketing but also click by click trainings how to deal with all the technical elements involved. They not only tell me what to do but also how to do it AND SHOW IT TO ME IN VIDEO.

So it is almost impossible to get it wrong. I find that I am making great progress with this help and also already was able to help some people get started. And this feels really good, beginner or not, being just me will be my way!

I don’t understand why people keep posting this kind of messages! It is spam and nobody cares about that kind of stuff. I don’t know the person who sent this, he doesn’t even care to put in my name!

In my opinion this is the wrong approach.  Social networks have the word social in it because you are supposed to act socially and friendly. Have the attitude that you really want to help people and forget about all this “money making”. It will follow.

For example I met a nice person online and started a conversation. Now she is asking me for tips on her marketing. As I just learned a lot about that in the Renegade University, I am sharing what I learned with her. Sometimes you need some special tools for your marketing, for example an autoresponder. There are several different products she could use but of course the one I use is the one I can explain best, so I recommend it. Of course I use the affiliate program that is related and get a commission but does it hurt her? Would she follow my recommendation? If all my other tips really helped her, she probably would. Why not?

Would she have bought that product if I had just pitched her about it like that person above? No way, she might not even have known that she needed that product. Only after she had started her own marketing she came to the point where she actually asked me if I knew a good and reliable auto responder.

Now this was a person to person interaction. Of course you can reach a bigger audience if you put your tips about how to market a home business online. If you write good articles that really help people, they might follow your recommendations without asking you first.

They might even want to join your business. So, what do you think?

Isn’t that a better way than to send spam messages to everybody who dared to click “YES” when you sent a friend request on any social network?

Try the non spammy approach and you will earn real friendship from other people and even much more money.
