How To Take Network Marketing Online

Traditionally, network marketing is not an internet business. It is taught by most uplines that you should work in your warm market, which means, you should talk to family and friends and everybody you meet.

I learned it that way and in the beginning I was so excited about the business that I had no problem talking to everybody within reach. I was in all honesty astonished, that other people didn’t see, how great this business is and that nobody was interested! Oh yes, I was naiv! Nobody from my family and friends joined my business and I even had to almost force them to become customers, although they really would save on their phone bills (I was in telecommunication then).

(Actually I still don’t understand this. They would stick to the national phone company, although that company used illegal methods to get contracts! And still most people were loyal to them.)

But it seems, network marketing has such a bad reputation that everything that has something to do with it, has to be bad.

The only people who did enter my business were total strangers who had found me through my advertising on the internet.

After a while I was so fed up with being rejected that I didn’t dare to ask anyone anymore. My business came to a halt. I didn’t know what to do.

Then, just in time, I found Ann Siegs ebook. She writes about how she was in the same situation, feeling absolutly foolish and friends avoiding her and so on, and how everything changed, when she dicovered how to combine network marketing with internet marketing methods. Her downline exploded and duplicated what she was doing and nobody had to harass anyone! What a relief!
I follow her methods and the leads start trickeling in. The nice thing is, when buying her ebook, you also get access to her system generating leads for you even if you don’t have your own website yet. Of course having your own website is highly recommended but not absolutly necessary. I am on my way building a website but the system is already working for me *smile*. Actually I made more money with her system already than I made in total all this years before!

As you can see in my previous posts I was in for learning internet marketing strategies already but didn’t have a clue. Ann Siegs book tied it all together for me. If you want to get to know her first, read her free ebook: “The 7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing” and you will know what I mean.

I am soooo happy I found her in time because there was absolutly no way I would ask anybody again to join my business who has not come to me first. Ann Sieg says that this is essential. Nobody likes to be sold but they like to sell themselves. If they find my business and find it interesting enough to approach me, then they made the decision for themselves and dont’t feel harassed. This is a much better way to start the conversation!

The funny thing is, I even make money of the people who don’t join. There is a lot of ways to monetize a website that you truly own (not a MLM-company-website!). Ken Evoy could tell you all about it. But this will be another post, another day.
